Ian Bigelow

CEO

As founder and Chief Executive Officer of Simple Management Solutions, LLC., Ian Bigelow brings over 40 years of experience and key leadership to one of the most sought-after consulting firms in the field of integrated facilities management. He has been principal on countless projects, including the design and build of state-of-the-art laundry facilities in Houston, TX; Milwaukee, WI; and Manteca, CA. The Milwaukee and Manteca facilities are the first such facilities ever to achieve LEED certification in the laundry industry. He has led teams developing and managing capital projects and renovations for organizations including Host Hotels,  Ritz Carlton Hotels and Marriott Hotels.

Ian has spent his entire career in the contract services industry for Healthcare, Hospitality, Industrial, Education, and Office Buildings. He is responsible for allocating project resources, approving the content and quality of all deliverables, the planning, design and implementation of capital projects, service line consultations and outcomes.

Ian has authored 15 manuals outlining best practice operations for multiple disciplines in the contract support services industry. He serves on the TRSA Production Task Force and is a past member of ARTA’s Board of Directors.  He graduated from The University of Utah with undergraduate degrees in Education and Production Design and holds a master’s degree in Set Architecture.

Ian lives in Spring, Texas with his wife of over 40 years and together they enjoy their grown children and their grand children.

Brian is our Executive Vice President and is a seasoned Environmental, Health, and Safety Executive with substantial experience in leading and directing complex Safety and Risk operations and initiatives within Fortune 500 companies. He states that his mission in life is to “Protect People and Business”.   He specializes in prevention and claims management through the implementation of specific awareness programs that resulted in over a decade of year over year injury reduction in a variety of business lines, including:  Healthcare; Facilities; Laundries; Higher Education and K-12; Retail.  An expert in strategic planning through the comprehensive review of injuries, policies, procedures, and training and then creating and implementing a plan that will reduce exposures with Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, and Auto Liability.  In 2014 his team won the prestigious Teddy Roosevelt Award from Risk and Insurance Magazine for innovation, collaboration, and results. 

 

Brian resides in Denver Colorado with his wife and 5 children.  He is an avid tennis player and skier.
